CONSCIOUS CONSUMPTION

They say we are what we eat. Which has some legitimacy. However, this concept isn’t limited to food. Everything we consume has an impact on who we are. The media we consume, the books we read, the music we listen to, shows we watch and conversations we have. It all has an effect on who we are. It effects our beliefs and our energy. When we consume conscious content of high vibrations it can align and raise us. When we consume low vibrational content of discord it can create discomfort and disease. Consume conscious content.

MEDITATION

Of all these hacks, meditation has probably had the biggest effect on me. It’s helped with focus, awareness, reflecting, healing, insight, and inspiration. It’s strengthened my core and improved my posture. It connects me to present moment awareness, my higher self, and source.

There is no better way to begin and end the day.

 

MOON WORK

Over the past few years, my intention setting has corresponded with the moon cycle. On the New Moon I set intentions, goals, and plans for the upcoming moon cycle. On the Full Moon, I read back though the notebook, reflect, and celebrate the successes. During the reflection I often update intentions, goals, and plans from the New Moon.

Doing this work is powerful in itself. Partnering it with the cycle of the Moon multiplies the power.

YOGA

Yoga combines mind, body, and soul in a way of its own.

Daily yoga practice can cause upgrades to your attention, focus, presence, and physical body, in addition to having dozens of others benefits.

You don’t need to go to studios to do yoga. Learn some poses and flows that work for you and incorporate them into your daily routine.

Any yoga is better than no yoga.

 

HOME STEADING

Home steading improves ones relationship with their home and their food. The more autonomy one claims over the items in ones life, the more gratitude, appreciation, and respect we have for them. More so, there is pleasure and joy in using things that you create. Each aspect of home steading can bring new knowledge, skill, appreciation, and wisdom. I started with gardening, added furniture creation, landscaping, beer and kombucha brewing, pickling and fire water, cleaners, and soap.

DRY FAST
